At one point in my life, I was nearly 400 pounds, nearly bedbound, and on 9 prescription medications. Riddled with autoimmune disease, severe depression, and chronic pain, I thought my life was over before I was 30. But a small part of me believed I could transform my body, exit the shame spirals, and live fully alive.
